Warren County YMCA Programs Adult Sports:
Men's Basketball League
Come hoop with stars from old and new in the area's top basketball league, as stated by Jake Sottos, Ben Gillen and Tim Smith in the Galesburg Register-Mail.
Games are played Monday & Tuesday nights at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30 pm at the 1st Street Armoury, 215 S. 1st Street. League starts Monday, June 7th. Limited to first 20 teams. No pay, no play!
Thursday Night Adult Slow-Pitch Softball League
Oil up your glove, pine tar your bat, grab 9 of your fellow friends, and join us at the Monmouth Park or Little York Field. Sign up for a slow pitching, hard hitting, base stealing good time. This league plays Spring/Summer and Fall. YMCA Slow-Pitch Softball: "Get out of the bleachers and on to the field."
Sunday Indoor Soccer League
Lace up your indoor soccer shoes and come along for the ride of your life in the fast paced world of indoor soccer. Sign your team up and join area teams that travel from Beardstown, Moline and Galesburg. This league runs in two sessions from October to April. YMCA Indoor Soccer: "Not for the weak of heart."
Thursday Night Adult Volleyball League
Dust of the kneepads, apply the sport's cream, and come join us with your team in co-ed Recreational Volleyball. Whether you are a setter, server or spiker, you will enjoy the fun and fellowship of this league.
Women's Only Indoor Soccer League (5 on 5)
Starting in January 2010, women will have their own soccer league with games played on Wednesday or Thursday nights.
